What Is A Guarantee? 

Purchasing the right boiler is an investment in your home. All new boilers come with a guarantee from the manufacturer. If you experience a genuine fault with the boiler during the guarantee period, the manufacturer will arrange to have it repaired it for free. Your guarantee is an important part of the installation as it ensures you are protected just in case your boiler ever breaks down. With your Worcester Bosch boiler guarantee, you can seek help directly from the company and they will be able to help you. 

Different boilers have different warranties, but the longer yours is, the longer your boiler should stand the test of time. Worcester Bosch set very high standards and they provide excellent manufacturer-backed guarantees. 

What Does My Guarantee Cover? 

Your guarantee will cover a number of things such as replacement parts, call out and labour. During the guarantee period, any product or component which proves to be faulty can be repaired or replaced for free, as long as the company has approved. The manufacturer’s guarantee does not cover things such as: 

  • Damage caused by faulty installation, theft, fire etc. 
  • Any unauthorised adjustments made by a third party 
  • Boiler de-scaling and chemical cleansing 
  • Self-maintenance tasks

Always Check The Terms & Conditions 

All boiler manufacturers have strict terms and conditions that must be met in order to secure your guarantee. No matter what manufacturer you decide to choose, you must always check your terms and conditions to ensure your boiler is covered in the event of a breakdown. 

Your Worcester Bosch boiler must be fitted by an accredited installer and to keep it valid. You must have it serviced every 12 months from the day it was installed. Many heating engineers leave the warranty registration process to homeowners, so make sure to ask. Your boiler should be registered on the Worcester Bosch website within 30 days of its installation and will commence from the installation date. Failure to register your boiler in time means that you will lose the warranty. Failing to have it annually serviced also puts your warranty at risk. 

Please note that manufacturer warranties are regularly subject to change. It is advisable that you check the terms and conditions every so often. There will always be a small print that you could miss.
